In 2007, I left the corporate world and set off on a new path. After years in technology - first in engineering then 20+ years in information technology, I needed to give time to another passions ... art, design, gardening, and beekeeping.
I went back to school to explore design and writing and received a certificate in Interior Design at Parsons Design School.
I created a studio where I can exercise my passion for design by crafting jewelry, sewing, and creating artwork. In addition to my studio, I dedicate time to other passions - beekeeping, yoga, healthy cooking, gardening and being environmentally conscious – all of which you will see reflected in my work.
Oh, and along the way came an old house that needed to care and restoration - see more about that on www.homestead.asimplerplace.com.

If you follow your bliss, you put yourself on a kind of track that has been there all the while, waiting for you, and the life that you ought to be living is the one you are living. Wherever you are -- if you are following your bliss, you are enjoying that refreshment, that life within you, all the time. --- Joseph Campbell ---
You have to live spherically--in many directions. To accept yourself for what you are without inhibitions, to be open. Put yourself into life and never lose your openness, your childish enthusiasm throughout the journey that is life, and things will come your way. --- Federico Fellini --
